Zoomlion Heavy Industries opens new branches in Malaysia

Jul 02, 2024

Recently, Zoomlion Heavy Industries Malaysia's Kuching branch opened grandly, with over 200 local customers and guests participating in the event. The on-site signing amount exceeded 12 million yuan. This branch is the fifth branch of Zoomlion Heavy Industries in Malaysia. The gradual deepening and refinement of localization layout will help Zoomlion Heavy Industry to continue to increase its popularity and sales in the local area.

It is understood that Kuching is the largest city in Sarawak, Malaysia. In recent years, numerous infrastructure projects in the state have started construction, and the demand for construction machinery, construction machinery, and mining equipment has been increasing. Zhao Peng, Deputy General Manager of Zoomlion's Malaysia subsidiary, introduced: "Due to the geographical particularity of Malaysia, the transportation cost for transshipment in the East Malaysia region is high due to logistics resource limitations. The Kuching branch, which covers an area of over 5000 square meters, will greatly reduce our logistics costs, promote product localization, deepen market share, and enhance service guarantee capabilities."

This opening has also received enthusiastic feedback from local customers. "Last March, we met with Zoomlion Heavy Industries at an event in Johor. I am eagerly looking forward to seeing your brand and products here (Kuching) as well. I am delighted to have witnessed your branch opening in just one year!" said Andy, a representative from INTERCARGO, excitedly.

In recent years, Zoomlion's Malaysian subsidiary has deepened the implementation of the company's "end-to-end, digital, and localized" overseas strategy, continuously promoting the construction of network points from regional centers to important cities.
